Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union says that the political power in the Kurdistan Region failed.
Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union said during a meeting at the Cultural Camp of KIU Engineers “33 years of failed rule of the Kurdistan Regional Government and its ruling parties have shown that this crisis-ridden system is no longer useful for governing the people and the structure of the region".
He explained, “Today, the situation in the Kurdistan Region is worse than ever and the PUK and KDP cannot survive without the money and power. Therefore, they are afraid of elections and losing power".
