The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, sent On Monday a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Hijri New Year.
"We rejoice at the advent of the new Hijri year 1445 and the anniversary of the migration of the Prophet (peace be upon him)," the Secretary-General said in a tweet.
He added, "The anniversary of immigration is the good news of the sunrise of the city's constitution and the end of the era of oppression, darkness, idolatry and deception."
He emphasized that "emigration was the beginning of abandoning ignorance and injustice, and it was the declaration of divine support for the last of the Prophets (peace be upon him) and those who followed him forever."
