Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union sent a letter of condolences to the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood.
"With the death of this great man, Muslims have lost an unprecedented leader of morality, balance, perseverance and generosity," the letter said.
The Kurdish people have lost a loyal friend in the Islamic world. A personality who spent 85 years of his life full of courage, sacrifice and leadership.
Text of the condolence letter:
We have received the news of the passing away of the great Islamic personality and Deputy Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ibrahim Munir.
On this sad occasion, we extend our condolences to the family of the late leadership and the office of the Muslim Brotherhood and all students and friends of this great man.
May Allah reward him for decades of struggle, and imprisonment, displacement. With the death of this great man, Muslims have lost an unprecedented leader of morality, balance, perseverance and generosity.
The Kurdish people have lost a loyal friend in the Islamic world. A person who spent 85 years of his life full of courage, sacrifice and leadership in action.
