Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, congratulated On Thursday, Dr. Abdullatif Rashid on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq.
In his message, Secretary-General said, "On the occasion of the election of Dr. Abdullatif Rashid as President of the Republic of Iraq, I extend my warmest congratulations to him."
He added, "We hope that with the help of the loyal, he will be able to get the country out of crises and stagnant situations, as well as unite the Kurdish ranks in particular and the Iraqi house in general, and that relations will witness harmony and progress."
