Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, issued a message of condolences on the death of Mullah Muhammad Nali.
"We are saddened by the news of the death of the older brother and the scholar (Mullah Muhammad Nali)" Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union said in the message.
"On this sad occasion, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, relatives and friends" he added.
