Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union: We will confront conspiracies to break up the family

Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, participated, on Friday, in a camp for the development of capabilities set up in the city of Chamchamal by the Supreme Council of Teachers in the Union.

In a speech during the camp, Secretary-General said, "Teachers have an important role, and the duties of teachers are among the duties of the messangers, as they raise children from kindergarten until they reach the university stage."

In another part of his speech, he highlighted the amendment of the draft law on violence in the family, explaining that "the family in the Kurdish society is the biggest shield and fortress, and that what is happening in the Kurdistan Parliament is a very large and programmed conspiracy."

He added, "The issue should not turn into a partisan issue and is not concerned with a particular party than others, but it is the issue of everyone and we must not remain silent about what is happening and prevent the demolition of the family and distortion of the highest values ​​in society."

Secretary-General stressed that "the Kurdistan Islamic Union will do its utmost in civil and scientific ways to prevent these revolting conspiracies and against proxy war."

He stressed that "it is our duty to warn people of the contracting process that some are doing for material gain in exchange for destroying the highest values ​​in Kurdish society."

At the conclusion of his speech, he made it clear that "it is not the duty of the Kurdistan Islamic Union alone to defend religious and national issues, and the rest of the parties and all groups of society must refuse to dismantle family ties."
