Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), sent a letter of condolences to the family of the late Saleh Iskandar.
"I am saddened by the news of the death of my good brother and colleague Saleh Iskandar. I ask Allah to grant him Paradise. He was an example of a pure young man and a brave guard".
