Secretary-General of the KIU: Iraq is a country of communities and they must solve the country's problems together

Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) visited the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad and was received by Ambassador Ali Reza.

Secretary-General congratulated the new Ambassador and wished him success.

Secretary-General of the KIU said that the KIU as a political party has positive and good relations with the parties, and as a social party, has a vision of peaceful coexistence of communities, based on constitutional principles.

Regarding the political situation in Iraq, he said: The political process has reached a deadlock that has endangered the stability of the country. Iraq needs national consensus more than ever after all the past events It is easy to reach a solution, but it requires a sincere and caring dialogue. We call on Turkey to play a role in breaking the political deadlock in Iraq.

On the other hand, the military and security actions and reactions of the border, were another topic of discussion, in this regard, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin said: A political solution will end the problems.

The Turkish Ambassador expressed his pleasure for the visit and thanked the guest delegation.

In a speech, he expressed his concern about the political situation in Iraq.

He also said that they have benefited from the vision of the KIU, which is always realistic reading of the political and social balance in Iraq, the experience of the KIU in the peaceful life of communities, religious and humanitarian.

In another part of his speech, the Turkish ambassador said: We believe that the national dialogue will solve the current situation and for this purpose, the KIU can play a positive and effective role.
