Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU), received President Nechirvan Barzani and his accompanying delegation in Sulaimani on Sunday afternoon the meeting discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region.
For his part, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin said that the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and future generations can no longer tolerate the chaotic situation, the disappointment of citizens, and changes in Iraq and the region requires officials to think about the future of the region, the region is in danger internationally, internally, due to the conflict and indifference of the ruling forces.
In the meeting, the President of the Kurdistan region said that he visited Sulaimani in order to ease tensions and create solidarity between the political parties and called on Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddinand and the leadership of the Islamic Union to play their role in the reconciliation process.
