Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, visited on Thursday, the party's organizations in Sayed Sadiq District of Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
In a meeting with a number of members, cadres, and leaders of the Union in the tenth center of the Union, Secretary-General said that "what is happening in Baghdad and the region is false and that the interests of the people and the country are used for partisan and personal interests."
He added, "This unfairness is a big mistake, and that the authorities cannot fulfill their duties towards the citizens, and that they have failed to serve the people and the country."
He stressed that "the Kurdistan Islamic Union will not participate in any unjust process, whether in the region or in Iraq," explaining that "unfortunately, the dishonest conflict almost leads the country to destruction."
