Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Sunday, cast his vote in the early Iraqi legislative elections.
"I call on all citizens to participate in the elections and cast their votes," Secretary-General said after casting his vote at a polling station in Sulaymaniyah.
He added, "The lack of participation of the voters or those who participate and nullify their votes, but participate in an indirect way in the success of the parties in power."
He stressed that "the elections this time are early and came in order to elect qualified people for the Iraqi parliament and to end corruption and mismanagement in the country."
