Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, in the presence of a number of members of the Executive and Leadership Councils, received, on Sunday, the co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the general situation in the Kurdistan region and Iraq and stressed the need to unify the political speech of all parties for the public interest.
They also highlighted the accelerating changes in the region and stressed the work to unite to face the risks of political changes in the future.
The two sides also discussed the early Iraqi legislative elections, which are scheduled to take place in about a month.
