Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, on Saturday, met with a number of young people in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
In a speech delivered during the meeting, Secretary-General said, "In the past period, on both the personal and collective levels, plans and programs have been drawn up to deprive youth of hope from a national and religious point of view."
He added, "We believe that the strength and ability of young people are greater than these plans and that they should not submit to these prepared programs," explaining that "all changes in human history have occurred at the hands of young people."
Secretary-General stressed, "We are very proud of our youth who have become a model of purity and sincerity," noting that "it is necessary to work on developing their vital energies using the experience of those who preceded us."
