Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahudin Muhammad Bahaaudin, with his accompanying delegation yesterday, Sunday, visited the first center of the Islamic Union in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
Secretary-General, in a speech delivered during the visit, said that "we must take the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as an occasion to approach the Prophet’s approach and adorn ourself with his high morals.
He added that "the curricula of the Union are based on the moderation of Islam, which is a Kurdish national reform project."
He pointed out that "the political project has been distorted in the region and has been complicated in all areas and derailed."
Pointing out that "the Kurdistan Islamic Union has its own decision and no party can impose its agendas on it," explaining, "From this standpoint, the Islamic Union can provide great services to society."
