Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, today, Sunday, 12 July 2020 in Sulaimaniyah, visited the President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih, discussed the latest political developments in Iraq, Kurdistan Region, and the region.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for coordination between all political parties for the purpose of solving problems and crises through dialogue and understanding for the benefit of citizens, the political process, security, stability, and welfare for citizens in Iraq and the Kurdistan region.
In another part of the meeting, they stressed the necessity of resolving the outstanding problems between Baghdad and Erbil on the basis of the constitution, especially the issue of salaries and budget and protecting the rights of citizens of the Kurdistan Region.
