Secretary-General of Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin, in Sulaimaniyah, on Saturday, received a high-rank delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by the co-president of the Union, Lahor Sheikh Jangi.
The two sides discussed the political developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and highlighted the necessity for all parties, especially the parties involved in the Kurdistan Regional Government, to resolve outstanding issues, especially the issue of employee salaries.
In another part of the meeting, Secretary-General of Kurdistan Islamic Union discussed with the delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan the solutions proposed to resolve the outstanding issues between the KRG and the federal government in Baghdad.
The two sides stressed the need to intensify internal and external efforts to reach an agreement between the two sides, which will benefit the citizens.
