Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union and his accompanying delegation on Sunday visited the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan.
Salahuddin Muhammad Bahauddin was accompanied by a number of members of the Executive Council and the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, they were received by the leader of the movement, Irfan Abdulaziz, and a number of the leaders of the movement.
The two sides stressed during the meeting the fraternal relations between them and the necessity of rapprochement of the Islamic parties in Kurdistan region.
The two sides also discussed the political situation in the region, Iraq and the region.
