Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, on Thursday, received a high-level delegation of the Kurdistan Communist Party.
Salahaddin Mohamed Bahaauddin, accompanied by Samir Selim, a member of the Executive Council and Mohammed Hawdiani, head of relations of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, received Kawa Mahmoud, Head of the Kurdistan Communist Party, and Othman Zindani, a member of the Central Committee of the party.
In a brotherly meeting, the two sides discussed the political situation and regional developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, as well as the situation of the city of Kirkuk and the disputed areas.
The two sides also stressed the need for coordination between the two parties in all fields, especially between the two blocs in the Kurdistan Parliament for the public interest.
