Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, on Monday, received the new Iranian consul in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
In a friendly meeting that lasted for about an hour, Salaheddin Muhammad Bahaauddin discussed with Mahdi Shoshtari, the new consul, the political situation in the region, Iraq and the Kurdistan region.
Secretary-General hoped the new Iranian consul would succeed in the tasks entrusted to him.
