Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaeddin and his accompanying delegation visited the US Embassy in Baghdad and met with John Hood, the embassy official in Iraq.
The meeting took about an hour during which the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union discussed with John Hood the political process in Iraq and clarified the vision of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad and how to solve it .
