Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammad Bahauddin on Monday received the Turkish Consul-General in the Kurdistan Region Hakan Karji the two side discussed during the meeting the latest political developments in the region.
Secretary-General referred to the political process in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and stressed the elections of the Kurdistan Parliament, declaring that the Kurdistan Islamic Union is ready to hold elections in its time.
For his part, the Turkish Consul-General in the Kurdistan Region wished success to the elections of the Kurdistan Parliament and wished to cross the region to a new stage to provide greater service to the citizens.
