Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammad Bahaauddin received the ambassador and the European Union envoy in Iraq Ramon Bliko and the official of the European Union relations office Claris Pasteuri.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the latest political developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region as they pointed to the support of European countries to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the war against ISIS and thier support for the democratic process in Iraq.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union referred to the forgery that took place during the Iraqi elections held on 12 of last month and called on the European Union to play their role in calming the situation and restoring the confidence of citizens.
