Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Mohammad Bahaauddin stressed the commitment of his party to the decision of the Constitutional Court on the results of the elections.
Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin during a press conference held on Thursday 21/6/2018 to discuss the latest political developments in the Kurdistan and Iraq, and the decision of the Constitutional Court on the elections, congratulating the Constitutional Court to issue a decision to recount votes manually, declaring the commitment of his party to the decision of the Constitutional Court in this regard.
He appealed to the political parties not to adopt fraud and steal votes, announcing the readiness of the Kurdistan Islamic Union for political alliances to participate in the upcoming elections to fight corruption.
He also explained that they have asked international bodies concerned provide guarantees regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections.
