Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union on Monday received a delegation of the Iraqi Turkmen Front headed by Idan Maarouf.
The delegation offered congratulations on the occasion of the anniversary of the announcement of the Kurdistan Islamic Union , appreciating the role of the Islamic Union on the Kurdish political arena and pointed out that the Islamic Union had an important role in the coexistence between the political parties and was a factor of stability in the Kurdistan Region.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region and stressed the need to meet the demands of citizens by the government.
