Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaaudin on Thursday 11-1-2018 visited Barham Ahmed Saleh, head of the Alliance for Democracy and Justice on the occasion of the end of the founding conference of the alliance and his election as president.
The Secretary-General offered his congratulations to Barham Salih on the occasion of the end of the Founding Conference of the Alliance for Democracy and Justice and his election as President ,wished that the founding of the Alliance would be a gateway to solve problems and unify the political parties' position and serve the supreme interests of the Kurdish people.
In another part of the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Kurdistan, Iraq and the region and stressed the solution of the problems in general and the living condition of citizens in particular. For his part Barham Saleh described the role of Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in the political arena of Kurdistan as important and praised the role Kurdistan Islamic Union as a moderate party in all political stages of the Kurdistan Region.
