A high-level delegation of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) headed by Salahuddin Mohammed Bahaauddin, secretary-general with Khalil Ibrahim and Farhad Mala Saleh, members of the Executive Council on Tuesday, 25-12-2017, visited the Kurdistan Islamic Group.
In a brotherly meeting the two sides discussed the latest political developments in Kurdistan and the relations between Baghdad and Erbil and the issue of living conditions for citizens and employees and teachers and the financial crisis, the two sides stressed improving the living conditions of citizens by the government as soon as possible and accelerate the start of negotiations with Baghdad to reach a way out of the crises experienced by the Kurdistan Region.
On the issue of demonstrations witnessed by the Kurdistan Region, the two sides stressed the support of the legitimate demands of employees and citizens and expressed their support for peaceful demonstrations away from violence.
